Hi, I am Kris Dane.
Fair chance you might be familiar with my ongoing musical feats, the music however bares a hidden gem: ever since my childhood I have been passionate about horses.
In symbiosis with the musical know-how I approach horsemanship from a different angle, providing basic horse care, practicing equine science & research as well as presenting out-of-the-box consultancy on horsemanship & welfare.
Horsemanship and songwriting share similar skills & characteristics: patience, perseverance, honesty, intuition, timing, rhythm, pace, melody, transcendence…
I am constantly on the look out to improve the physical and psychological equity, aiming for tailor-made methodologies.
Prior to being an approach, a philosophy, a practice and a teaching, equinethology ® is a way of life.

equinethology ® is a complementary horse care, beneficial to all horses: from leisure to sport horses, private to competitive horses.
On the ground, equinethology ® improves both the physical and psychological welfare, aiming for a respectable horse within a solid mindset, considering every aspect of work according to its inherent ethics, based on both ongoing experience and everlasting research.

Originally rooted during my stay in the Namibian Kalahari Desert, the Kalahari Hippogriff ® is an online log,
a written record of travels, activities and thoughts on handling & research.
By sharing experiences I keep looking to improve the deeper inner connection and freedom between horse & rider, strengthening their mutual consideration and understanding, aiming for a a stronger resilience, more reliability and beneficial work ethics.
